Here’s something that’s not often noticed or seen at the Sacramento Airport. On the Skyway between the large parking structure and Terminal A is a beautiful, creatively designed “Flying Carpet”. The carpet depicts an aerial view of the Sacramento River.

It was designed by Seyed Alavi, a California based artist. Additional pictures and information about Seyed’s work can be found here.
